Ingredients of our shirolepa for anti-dandruff

Scientific Name: Azadirachta indica

Neem (Nimba)

When your scalp feels itchy, flaky, or out of balance, Neem is the ingredient Ayurveda reaches for. Rich in naturally occurring compounds like nimbidin and quercetin, it helps cleanse the scalp, reduce excess oil, and support a healthy scalp microbiome. That's why it's a hero ingredient in our Shiro Lepa, helping create the ideal environment for a healthier, flake-free scalp.

Neem in hair oil

Scientific Name: Citrus limon

Lemon

Rich in natural citric acid and vitamin C, Lemon has long been used to refresh oily scalps and help lift away excess buildup. In our Shiro Lepa, it complements the herbs by helping the scalp feel cleaner, fresher, and more balanced, especially when dandruff is accompanied by excess oil.

Scientific Name: Trigonella foenum-graecum

Fenugreek (Methi)

Methi has been part of Indian hair care rituals for generations and for good reason. Rich in proteins, mucilage, and nicotinic acid, it helps condition the scalp, soothe dryness, and leave hair feeling softer and stronger. In our Shiro Lepa, it helps comfort an irritated scalp while reducing the dryness that often accompanies dandruff.

Scientific Name: Ocimum tenuiflorum

Tulsi (Holy Basil)

Tulsi is one of Ayurveda's most revered herbs for purification and balance. Naturally rich in antioxidants and aromatic compounds like eugenol, it helps refresh the scalp, manage excess oil, and support a healthy scalp environment. It's our go-to herb for bringing balance back to stressed scalps.

Ingredients: Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica)

Triphala

Three legendary fruits, one timeless Ayurvedic formulation. Triphala gently supports scalp health with its antioxidant-rich and cleansing properties, helping remove buildup while keeping the scalp balanced. We love it because a healthy scalp is the first step towards healthy hair.

Scientific Name: Acacia concinna

Shikakai

Before shampoos existed, there was Shikakai. Naturally rich in gentle plant saponins, it cleanses away excess oil and buildup without stripping the scalp's natural moisture. It leaves your scalp feeling clean, balanced, and refreshed—never dry or tight.

Scientific Name: Sapindus mukorossi

Reetha (Soapnut)

Before shampoos existed, there was Shikakai. Naturally rich in gentle plant saponins, it cleanses away excess oil and buildup without stripping the scalp's natural moisture. It leaves your scalp feeling clean, balanced, and refreshed—never dry or tight.

Scientific Name: Eclipta prostrata

Bhringraj (Kesharaja)

Known as the "King of Herbs for Hair," Bhringraj has been trusted in Ayurveda for centuries to nourish the scalp and support stronger, healthier-looking hair. In our Shiro Lepa, it helps calm the scalp while supporting the roots, making it the perfect companion in a dandruff-care ritual.
